Carlton Clayton lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and is a decorated, thirty-year Air Force veteran. He is a nonfiction writer who likes exploring adventure travel writing. He has completed essays chronicling his much enjoyed treks up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Uluru in the Australian Outback, his journey along China's Great Wall, his descent into the belly of Giza's Great Pyramid, and navigating Norway's spectacular fjords. To that end, he's hoping that his pending adventure to Antarctica will be much more than journaling the takeoffs and landings of the albatross and the mating habits of penguins.
